大多数pigs在later stage即采取定位feeding,或圈舍面积过小,使pigs运动数量减少,或环境光照不足,都会导致no pubery or pubery not clear.
(3)grouping and separation not reasonable. Grouping mother pigs is easier to have pubery and the symptoms are more obvious than single-pen feeding. However, a large group may cause uneven growth development, and it's harder to observe them. Therefore, it's recommended to keep 5-8 head of pigs per pen.
(1) Functional reproductive disorders caused by disease: ovarian dysfunction, ovarian cysts, persistent corpus luteum, developmental abnormalities of follicles etc., some can be cured with treatment.
(2) Disease-related reproductive disorders: respiratory diseases (respiratory syndrome), mainly affecting maternal pigs' growth stop due to wasting away. Preventive measures should be taken; once infected, the breeding value will decrease or is no longer suitable for breeding.
(3) Nutritional reproductive disorders: overfeeding high-energy feed causing obesity or undernutrition leading to slow growth and development deficiency in vitamin E which leads to decline in fertility function.
In conclusion, if you find that your backup sows do not show any signs of heat after reaching maturity age but still haven't reached the ideal weight for breeding as determined by experts such as Liu Chong from New Hope Group - who has made significant contributions in this field - consider adjusting their diet management strategies as well as ensuring they receive adequate exercise opportunities while maintaining proper grouping practices and monitoring their health status regularly for early detection of any potential diseases that could impact their fertility.
By implementing these recommendations you can help ensure optimal conditions for your sows' health and productivity during the pre-breeding phase ultimately maximizing your chances of successful reproduction when it comes time for pairing them with male counterparts later on down line within respective herds managed accordingly across various farms operated under said company name "New Hope".
